An update from Computle:

  • We were automatically alerted to a service outage on November 14th at 02:54pm GMT, at our UK-A site. As of 17:50, we can confirm that full service connectivity has been restored.

Initial findings:

  • At 14:58 GMT, we opened a critical support case with our 3rd party network provider to identify the issue.

  • During this period, services were intermittently available as we conducted manual network failover attempts.

  • Initial reporting indicates that the network stack was flooded with unexpected traffic. This then caused both the primary and secondary feeds to go offline.

  • We are conducting further investigations to identify if this was a Denial of Service attack, or if this was the result of broadcast storm.

No further updates will be provided here.

Sincerely,
Computle
